About Us

Bay Area Custom T-Shirts was started in early 2006 by a trio of ex-scientists. We’ve always dreamed of providing witty and cool geek items to the scientific community at large. We came up with dozens of T-shirt designs and then faced the reality of buying dozens of t-shirt designs from standard screen printers. We decided that wasn’t a smart move, so we explored and researched alternative methods for printing T-shirts.

That’s when we came across the new inkjet technology that prints on garments. This technology provides the ability to do one design with no tooling charges. Plus, the quality is similar if not better than screen printing technology. Needless to say, we immediately invested in the printer and have been having fun with it ever since

We’re pleased to offer both retail and reseller opportunities. Currently, we offer services to many direct sellers as well as one-of-a-kind creations for birthday parties, showers, and family reunions.
